Miles Overview
The 2022 Ram 3500 is the heavy-duty workhorse of the lineup, built for serious towing and hauling duty. It competes directly with the Ford F-350 and Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD in the heavy-duty pickup segment. The 3500 drives with the confidence of a truck that knows its job, steering with a heavy but accurate feel. Expect a firm ride when unloaded, a trade-off for the payload capacity that makes it a true hauler. Inside, the cabin ranges from work-truck simple to luxurious, with available leather, heated seats, and a large touchscreen. The Tradesman is the entry-level trim, so you get the heavy-duty capability without the leather or big screen of a Laramie or Limited. It rolls on 18-inch steel wheels with on/off-road tires, and the vinyl floor and 40/20/40 bench seat make it easy to clean after a work day.
