Miles Overview
The 2024 Ram 3500 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, with a choice of regular, crew, and mega cab configurations. It goes head-to-head with the Ford F-350 Super Duty and Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD in the heavy-duty truck segment. Despite its size, the Ram 3500 drives with surprising composure, and the available air suspension smooths out the ride when empty. The cabin is roomy and well-appointed, especially in higher trims, with available leather upholstery and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The Tradesman is the work-truck entry point, skipping the chrome and creature comforts of the Big Horn and Laramie to keep the price down. Its 6.4L V8 makes 410 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission, giving you strong power for towing without the diesel's extra upfront cost. The standard rear-wheel drive and anti-spin differential mean this truck hooks up well on pavement, but you'll want four-wheel drive for slippery ramps or job sites.
