Miles Overview
The Ram 5500 is the heavy-duty chassis-cab work truck, built for commercial jobs and large RVs. Inside, the regular and crew cabs offer a straightforward layout with durable materials and available Uconnect touchscreen infotainment. Running costs are high, but that's the reality of a truck that can haul over ten thousand pounds. This 5500 is the chassis-cab model, so you get a bare frame behind the cab instead of a pickup bed, ready for a utility body or fifth-wheel hitch. The 6.7L I6 and automatic transmission work with four-wheel drive to handle heavy loads, and the 52-gallon fuel tank means fewer stops on long hauls.
