Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built to haul and tow far beyond what a half-ton can manage. It drives with the heft you expect from a one-ton truck, and the steering is direct enough to feel confident when you're loaded up. The ride is firm and truck-like when empty, but it settles down nicely once you have weight in the bed or a trailer behind it. The cabin is roomy, and the higher trims get genuinely comfortable seats and a big touchscreen that's easy to use. The base work truck setup and a simpler interior set the Tradesman apart from the Big Horn and Laramie trims above it. Its 6.7L I6 makes 360 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, which is plenty for heavy hauling but won't win any drag races.
