Miles Overview
The 2024 Ram 2500 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, with a choice of gas or diesel power. It goes head-to-head with the Ford F-250 Super Duty and the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, both of which offer comparable capability. On the road, the 2500 feels steady and planted, with a ride that is firm when unladen but settles down nicely with a load in the bed. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with higher trims offering leather upholstery and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The Laramie is the trim that adds real luxury to the heavy-duty Ram, with leather seats and a big touchscreen that the Big Horn doesn't have. Under the hood is the Cummins 6.7L I6 diesel, making 370 horsepower and a massive 850 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. The Laramie comes standard with a heated steering wheel and dual-zone climate control, plus the 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 system with navigation and a nine-speaker Alpine audio setup.
