Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton isn't enough for towing or hauling. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm, planted feel that shrugs off rough roads and heavy loads. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with controls that are easy to use even in work gloves. You get a choice of regular, extended, or crew cabs, so you can match the bed and seating to the job. The Big Horn adds chrome exterior trim, upgraded cloth seats, and a nicer infotainment screen over the Tradesman, without jumping to the Laramie's leather and luxury price. Its 6.4L I8 pairs with a automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you strong low-end grunt for pulling trailers or hauling heavy loads without working the engine hard. A factory towing package is common on Big Horns, adding a hitch, trailer brake controller, and upgraded cooling so you can max out the truck's rated capacity.
