Miles Overview
The 2017 Ram 2500 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, slotting above the 1500 and below the 3500 in Ram's truck lineup. It competes directly with the Ford F-250 Super Duty and the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, all vying for buyers who need real work capability. The heavy-duty chassis feels planted when loaded, and the available rear air suspension smooths out rough pavement, though the ride is firm when empty. The cabin is roomy and functional, with a large center console, available leather upholstery, and a user-friendly Uconnect infotainment system. The Big Horn gives you the 6.4L V8's extra power and more standard comfort features than an SLT or Tradesman, but skips the leather and upgraded audio you'd get in a Laramie. Its 6.4L V8 makes 410 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you effortless passing and strong towing muscle on the highway.
