Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built to tow and haul well beyond what the 1500 can manage. If you're also looking at a Ford F-250 or Chevy Silverado 2500, you're in the right class. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm feel that's the trade-off for its serious payload and towing capability. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with higher trims adding leather and a bigger touchscreen. The Big Horn adds chrome bumpers, fog lights, and a nicer grille over the Tradesman, but skips the Laramie's leather seats and larger touchscreen. Under the hood is a 383 horsepower 6.7L I8 paired with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you real work-truck grunt for towing and hauling. You can get the Big Horn with the Ram Heavy Duty package, adding a factory spray-in bedliner and a Class V hitch for maximum towing readiness.
