Miles Overview
The 2025 Ram 2500 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, slotting above the 1500 in Ram's truck lineup. It competes with the Ford Super Duty and Chevrolet Silverado HD, all vying for buyers who need real workhorse capability. The 2500 drives with the confidence of a truck that knows its job, steering and braking with reassuring stability even when loaded. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with available leather and a large touchscreen that make long hauls more comfortable. The Tradesman is the work-ready trim, skipping the chrome and leather of the Laramie and Limited in favor of vinyl floors and manual windows that are easier to hose out. Its 6.4L V8 makes 405 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you the grunt to pull a gooseneck trailer without breaking a sweat. The standard Class V receiver hitch and trailer brake controller mean you can hook up a heavy trailer the day you drive it off the lot.
