Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It rides like a proper truck, with a firm, truck-like feel that you expect from a heavy-duty model. Inside, the cabin is roomy and comfortable, especially in higher trims like the Laramie and Longhorn. Reliability is generally solid, though some owners have noted electrical gremlins over time. A vinyl floor and manual mirrors mark out the Tradesman as Ram's work-ready base trim, skipping the frills of the Big Horn and Laramie. Under the hood is the 6.4L V8 with 410 horsepower and a smooth automatic transmission, giving this heavy-duty truck plenty of grunt for towing and hauling. The 3.73 axle ratio and Class V receiver hitch come standard, so you can tow a heavy trailer right off the lot.
