Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built to tow and haul well beyond what the 1500 can manage. If you're also looking at a Ford F-250 or Chevy Silverado 2500, you're in the right class. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm feel that's the trade-off for its serious payload and towing capability. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with higher trims adding leather and a bigger touchscreen. The Tradesman skips the Big Horn's chrome and convenience items, saving you thousands while keeping the same heavy-duty bones. The 6.7L I8 makes 383 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the rear wheels, which moves loads with authority but expects you to plan for fuel stops.
