Miles Overview
The Ram 2500 is the heavy-duty half of Ram's pickup lineup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It drives like a proper work truck, with a firm, truck-like feel and a strong sense of capability. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, especially in the higher trims, with plenty of space for passengers and gear. Expect higher running costs than a light-duty truck, mostly from fuel and maintenance, but that's the trade for its capability. The ST is the base trim, so you skip the SLT's chrome and power options but keep the same heavy-duty chassis and towing hardware. With the 6.7L I8 and automatic transmission, this four-wheel drive ST pulls hard and feels unstoppable on steep grades. Expect a firm, truck-like ride when unloaded, which is the trade for the payload and towing capacity.
