Miles Overview
The ProMaster is Ram's full-size van, built for cargo hauling and work duty, competing with the Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It drives with a car-like feel for such a big van, and the front-wheel-drive layout keeps the load floor low for easier loading. The ride is firm when empty, which is the trade-off for the payload capacity it carries when loaded. The tall roof versions let you stand up inside, and the rear doors swing wide for easy access with a forklift. The High Roof adds enough interior height to stand upright in the cargo area, which the Low Roof can't offer. Its 3.6L I6 makes 280 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving the van decent around-town response even when loaded. The standard Touring Suspension keeps the ride composed on the highway, though it's firm when the cargo bay is empty.
