Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built to tow and haul well beyond what the 1500 can manage. If you're also looking at a Ford F-250 or Chevy Silverado 2500, you're in the right class. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm feel that's the trade-off for its serious payload and towing capability. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with higher trims adding leather and a bigger touchscreen. All the heavy-duty towing and hauling gear without the luxury extras sets the Power apart from the Laramie and Laramie Longhorn trims. Its 5.7L I8 paired with the automatic transmission and four-wheel drive gives it plenty of grunt for pulling a trailer or loading the bed. Expect a firm highway ride with this trim; it's tuned for work, not comfort, which is the honest trade for its capability.
