Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton isn't enough for towing or hauling. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm, planted feel that shrugs off rough roads and heavy loads. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with controls that are easy to use even in work gloves. You get a choice of regular, extended, or crew cabs, so you can match the bed and seating to the job. Bare-bones work capability and a no-frills interior define the Tradesman, the entry-level trim that skips the extras to keep the price down. A 5.7L I8 with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive gives this Ram the grunt for serious towing, though fuel economy is not its strong suit.
