Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It rides like a proper truck, with a firm, truck-like feel that you expect from a heavy-duty model. Inside, the cabin is roomy and comfortable, especially in higher trims like the Laramie and Longhorn. Reliability is generally solid, though some owners have noted electrical gremlins over time. The Tradesman is the work-ready trim, giving you a vinyl floor and steel wheels instead of the Big Horn's chrome and cloth. Its 5.7L V8 makes 383 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, so it pulls hard when you need it. The 3.73 axle ratio is standard here, which helps with towing off the line.
