Miles Overview
The Ram 2500 is the heavy-duty half of Ram's pickup lineup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It drives like a proper work truck, with a firm, truck-like feel and a strong sense of capability. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, especially in the higher trims, with plenty of space for passengers and gear. Expect higher running costs than a light-duty truck, mostly from fuel and maintenance, but that's the trade for its capability. The ST is the base work truck in the 2500 range, so you get vinyl floors and manual windows instead of the SLT's power kit. Under the hood is a 5.7L I8 with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, giving you solid pulling power for heavy loads. Expect a firm, truck-like ride with the ST's heavy-duty springs, which is the trade for its serious towing capacity.
