Miles Overview
The 2500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton isn't enough for towing or hauling. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm, planted feel that shrugs off rough roads and heavy loads. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with controls that are easy to use even in work gloves. You get a choice of regular, extended, or crew cabs, so you can match the bed and seating to the job. The Tradesman is the work-spec 2500, skipping chrome and leather for a vinyl floor and rubber mats that wash out with a hose. Its 6.7L I6 pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you stump-pulling torque for heavy trailers without the complexity of four-wheel drive.
