Miles Overview
The Ram 2500 is the heavy-duty half of Ram's pickup lineup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It drives like a proper work truck, with a firm, truck-like feel and a strong sense of capability. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, especially in the higher trims, with plenty of space for passengers and gear. Expect higher running costs than a light-duty truck, mostly from fuel and maintenance, but that's the trade for its capability. The ST is the work-ready base trim, skipping the chrome and convenience features of the SLT for a lower starting price. It pairs a 6.7L I8 with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you the torque for heavy towing without the complexity of four-wheel drive. Expect a vinyl floor and manual windows, which makes hosing out the cab after a workday easy.
