Miles Overview
The 1500 Classic is Ram's previous-generation full-size pickup, sold alongside the newer 1500 for 2020 as a value-oriented work truck. It drives with the solid, trucky feel you expect from a full-size pickup, and the steering is direct enough for easy maneuvering in town. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and functional, with durable materials that hold up well to daily work use. With regular, crew, and quad cab configurations, you can match the cab size to your hauling and passenger needs. The Tradesman is the no-frills work truck of the 1500 Classic lineup, skipping the SLT's chrome and convenience upgrades to keep the price low. Its 3.6L V6 makes 305 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, which is enough for daily hauling and light towing, and it returns 19 mpg combined. Standard steel wheels and vinyl floors mean you can hose out the cabin after a muddy job site without worrying about carpet stains.
