Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, the one you buy when you need to haul a fifth-wheel or a heavy trailer without breaking a sweat. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view of the road and a ride that's firm when empty, which is the trade for how stable it feels loaded. The cabin is genuinely roomy, and even the base Tradesman has comfortable seats and a straightforward layout that's easy to live with daily. Ram's heavy-duty trucks have a solid reputation for durability, and this generation is no exception, with many owners reporting high-mileage trouble-free service. Stepping up to the Laramie Longhorn adds Western-themed leather, real wood trim, and more sound deadening than a regular Laramie, making it the most upscale heavy-duty Ram you can buy. Expect a ribbed leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated/ventilated seats up front, plus wood accents on the dash and doors that make the Longhorn cabin feel more like a luxury SUV than a work truck.
