Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton just isn't enough for serious towing and hauling. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view and a ride that's firm when empty but settles down once you've got weight behind it. Inside, the cab is genuinely spacious, and even work-trim models get a comfortable bench seat and straightforward controls. With regular, crew, and mega cab options plus multiple bed lengths, you can set up the 3500 to match how you actually work. The Tradesman is the work-grade starting point, skipping the chrome and power goodies of the Big Horn but saving thousands and giving you the same heavy-duty chassis and powertrain. You get the 6.7L I6 with 383 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that makes this truck feel unstoppable when you hook up a trailer.
