Miles Overview
The 2025 Ram 2500 is a heavy-duty pickup built for serious towing and hauling, slotting above the 1500 in Ram's truck lineup. It competes with the Ford Super Duty and Chevrolet Silverado HD, all vying for buyers who need real workhorse capability. The 2500 drives with the confidence of a truck that knows its job, steering and braking with reassuring stability even when loaded. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with available leather and a large touchscreen that make long hauls more comfortable. The Tradesman is the work-ready base trim, skipping the chrome and leather of the Laramie and Limited to keep the price down. Its 6.7L I6 makes 370 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive that handle heavy trailers without breaking a sweat. You get a vinyl bench seat and manual mirrors, which are easy to hose out after a muddy job site but skip the power adjustments of higher trims.
