Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built to haul and tow far beyond what a half-ton can manage. It drives with the heft you expect from a one-ton truck, and the steering is direct enough to feel confident when you're loaded up. The ride is firm and truck-like when empty, but it settles down nicely once you have weight in the bed or a trailer behind it. The cabin is roomy, and the higher trims get genuinely comfortable seats and a big touchscreen that's easy to use. The Laramie adds leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, and the 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 with navigation over the Big Horn, while skipping the Limited's wood trim and massaging seats. The 6.7L I6 makes 370 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you strong low-end grunt for pulling a gooseneck trailer up a grade. The Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly transfer case lets you switch between 2WD and 4WD without stopping, which is handy when the pavement turns to gravel mid-tow.
