Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work, and it's the truck you cross-shop with Ford's F-350 and Chevy's Silverado 3500. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view and a ride that settles down when you've got weight in the bed or a trailer behind it. The cabin is roomy and functional, with the higher trims adding leather and wood trim that make it feel more like a luxury SUV than a work truck. You can get it as a regular cab, crew cab, or mega cab, with a bed long enough for plywood and a payload rating that handles real jobs. Heated leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a larger Uconnect screen set the Laramie apart from the Tradesman and Big Horn trims below it. Its 6.4L V8 makes 410 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, and with four-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic, it feels unstoppable pulling a heavy trailer up a grade.
