Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton just isn't enough for serious towing and hauling. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view and a ride that's firm when empty but settles down once you've got weight behind it. Inside, the cab is genuinely spacious, and even work-trim models get a comfortable bench seat and straightforward controls. With regular, crew, and mega cab options plus multiple bed lengths, you can set up the 3500 to match how you actually work. The Tradesman is the work-ready base trim, skipping chrome and leather to keep the price down while still offering the same heavy-duty frame and drivetrain as the pricier Laramie. Its 5.7L I8 pairs with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, giving you solid pulling power for heavy trailers and confident traction on loose surfaces. Expect a firm ride when the bed's empty, but that stiff rear suspension is exactly what you want when you're towing near the 3500's max rating.
