Miles Overview
The 3500 is Ram's heavy-duty pickup, built to haul and tow far more than the light-duty models. It drives with the solid, planted feel you expect from a heavy-duty truck, and the steering is direct for its size. Expect a firm ride when unloaded, which is the trade-off for the payload capacity it carries. The cabin is roomy and functional, with available luxury touches on higher trims like Laramie and Longhorn. The Tradesman is the base work truck, so you pick it when you want capability without the frills of an SLT or Laramie. Its 6.7L I6 pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you straightforward power for towing and hauling without complexity.
