Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's three-row crossover, a budget-friendly pick for families who need extra seating without the size of a full SUV. It rides smoothly on the highway and handles turns with confidence, though the base engine feels a bit strained on steep hills. Inside, you get a roomy cabin with handy touches like hidden storage under the floor and available built-in coolers in the second row. Owners report few major issues, though some mention a slight transmission slip and a clunking sound on acceleration from a stop. The 3.6L V6 and all-wheel drive give the Journey eager acceleration and confident grip in slippery weather, though you'll see 19 mpg combined. The Crossroad's performance suspension firms up the ride noticeably, so you'll feel bumps more than in the SE.
