Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's seven-seat crossover, a roomier alternative to the Grand Caravan without the minivan doors. It drives like a car, with a smooth ride that soaks up bumps well, though the steering is on the light side. Inside, the cabin is comfortable and the touchscreen handles most controls, but the third row is tight for adults. Fold the rear rows down and you get a surprising amount of cargo space for a crossover this size. The bigger V6 and available all-wheel drive set the SXT apart from the base SE, which only comes with the four-cylinder and front-wheel drive. This SXT has the 3.6L V6 making 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives it confident all-weather traction at the cost of 19 mpg combined.
