Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's seven-seat crossover, a roomier alternative to the Grand Caravan without the minivan doors. It rides smoothly and handles predictably, though the base engine feels a bit sluggish when you need to merge quickly. The cabin is comfortable for five, but the third row is tight for adults and best reserved for kids or extra cargo space. The big touchscreen controls most functions, including audio and climate, and it's easy to use while driving. Its 3.6L V6 and four-speed automatic make for smooth around-town driving, though the transmission feels dated on the highway. This trim's standard front-wheel drive returns 19 mpg combined, which is competitive for a seven-seat crossover of this size.
