Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's seven-seat crossover, a roomier alternative to the Grand Caravan for families who want an SUV. It drives like a tall wagon, with a smooth ride and light steering that make it easy to maneuver around town. Inside, the big touchscreen controls most features, but the third row is tight for adults and the plastic trim feels cheap. The middle and rear rows fold flat, opening up a lot of cargo space for hauling gear or furniture. Stepping up to the Crossroad adds unique two-tone wheels and dark exterior accents that give the Journey a tougher look than the SXT. This Crossroad uses the base 3.6L I6 paired with a four-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, which feels adequate around town but struggles to merge on the highway. The Crossroad's standard fog lamps and body-color grille are purely cosmetic upgrades, so you don't get any extra power or towing capacity over the SXT.
