Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's family-focused three-row SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. It drives smoothly and handles turns well, though it's not quick and steep hills can be a struggle. Inside, you get roomy seating for up to seven, fold-flat second and third rows, and clever built-in boosters and floor coolers. Owners mention the heavy manual tailgate and a lack of standard rearview camera as minor annoyances. Under the hood is the same 2.4L I4 making 172 horsepower, paired with a four-speed automatic that keeps things simple but feels dated on the highway.
