Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's seven-seat crossover, a roomier alternative to the compact SUV class. It drives like a minivan without the sliding doors, with a comfortable ride that soaks up bumps well. The third row is tight for adults, but the middle and rear rows fold flat to open up a generous cargo area. The big touchscreen controls nearly everything, including audio, climate, and phone connectivity. The R/T is the sporty top trim; you get the V6 and firmer suspension as standard, but you give up all-wheel drive unless you step up to the AWD version. Its 3.6L V6 makes 283 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which gives the Journey real punch off the line but returns 19 mpg combined.
