Miles Overview
The Journey is Dodge's seven-seat crossover, a roomier alternative to the Grand Caravan without the minivan doors. It rides smoothly and handles predictably, though the base engine feels a bit sluggish when you need to merge quickly. The cabin is comfortable for five, but the third row is tight for adults and best reserved for kids or extra cargo space. The big touchscreen controls most functions, including audio and climate, and it's easy to use while driving. Stepping up to the SXT from the SE gives you standard cruise control, keyless entry, and upgraded cloth upholstery for a nicer daily feel. This SXT has the 3.6L V6 with a four-speed automatic driving the front wheels, and it delivers smooth, confident power for merging and passing; expect 19 mpg combined. A rear-seat DVD player with wireless headphones and remote control is available on the SXT, keeping passengers entertained on longer trips.
