The 2021 Compass is a compact SUV that slots between the Renegade and Cherokee, offering a mix of Jeep styling and everyday usability. The Compass handles competently with responsive steering, though the engine can feel strained during highway passing. Inside, the Compass offers a comfortable cabin with supportive seats and a user-friendly infotainment system, plus generous cargo space for the class. The Trailhawk adds underbody skid plates, red tow hooks, hill descent control, and an off-road suspension over the Latitude and Limited trims.
