Miles Overview
The Ram 2500 is Dodge's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton isn't enough for the job. It drives like a proper work truck: a firm, commanding ride that shrugs off rough roads, though the steering feels a bit vague on-center. Inside, the cabin is roomy and straightforward, with a high seating position and controls that are easy to reach, but the plastics are hard and dated. The bed is big and the payload is serious, so you can haul a heavy load without breaking a sweat. The SLT is the mid-grade Ram 2500, sitting between the base work truck and the plusher Laramie, adding chrome bumpers and cloth seats. Under the hood is a torquey 5.9L I6 paired with four-wheel drive, giving you the grunt to pull a trailer without revving hard.
