Miles Overview
The 2500 is Dodge's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton just won't cut it. It's a big truck that drives like one, with a firm, trucky ride and steering that's on the slow side. The cabin is plain and functional, with hard plastics and a straightforward layout that's easy to live with. You get a proper truck bed and a choice of regular, extended, or crew cabs, so there's a body style for most jobs. This 2500 is the base work truck, the one to pick if you want a manual transmission and don't need the V8's extra power. The 5.9L V6 makes 245 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed manual and four-wheel drive, so it's built for hauling and towing, not speed.
