Miles Overview
The Ram 2500 is Dodge's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton isn't enough for the job. It drives like a proper work truck: a firm, commanding ride that shrugs off rough roads, though the steering feels a bit vague on-center. Inside, the cabin is roomy and straightforward, with a high seating position and controls that are easy to reach, but the plastics are hard and dated. The bed is big and the payload is serious, so you can haul a heavy load without breaking a sweat. The Laramie adds leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, and extra sound deadening over the SLT, making it the cushy choice for long days behind the wheel. Under the hood is the torquey 5.9L I6 paired with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you the low-end grunt to move heavy trailers without revving the engine hard.
