2017 Lexus RX 350 F Sport

The 2017 RX 350 is a midsize luxury crossover that anchors Lexus's SUV lineup with a focus on comfort and refinement. It competes with the Acura MDX, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE, offering a softer, more isolated ride than its German rivals. The RX 350 glides over pavement with a hushed cabin, though the steering feels light and the body leans in corners. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in soft leather and wood, with generous rear legroom and a useful power liftgate on most trims. Standard tech includes a 12.3-inch display with the Remote Touch interface, which takes time to master but is responsive once learned. Stepping up to the F Sport trades some of the standard RX‘s cushy isolation for sharper responses and a sportier look. Its 3.5L V6 makes 270 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque, paired with a eight-speed automatic that snaps off quick shifts via paddle shifters, and it returns 23 mpg combined. The adaptive variable suspension and Sport S+ mode let you firm up the damping and sharpen the throttle when the road gets interesting.
