Miles Overview
The RX is Lexus's midsize SUV, the one most people cross-shop with the Acura MDX and the BMW X5. It's tuned for smooth, quiet cruising rather than sporty responses, so you'll glide over bumps without much fuss. Inside, the cabin is hushed and well put together, with comfortable seats and a straightforward layout that's easy to live with. Cargo space is generous for the class, and the rear seats fold nearly flat when you need to haul bigger items. The Base RX 350 comes with front-wheel drive and a well-equipped interior, skipping the F Sport's sharper suspension and AWD. Its 3.5L V6 makes 270 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving you smooth, effortless acceleration around town and on the highway. Lexus rates it at 21 mpg combined, which is reasonable for a midsize SUV of this vintage.
