Miles Overview
The RX 450h is Lexus's mid-size luxury SUV, the one shoppers often cross-shop with the BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE. It's a relaxed cruiser that glides over pavement, though it's not the last word in sporty handling. Inside, the cabin is hushed and trimmed with high-quality materials, and the rear seats fold for extra cargo room. The infotainment system uses a touchpad controller that takes some getting used to, but the standard safety suite is comprehensive. Sport-tuned suspension and unique interior trim set the F SPORT Handling apart from the Luxury and Premium trims. A 3.5L V6 hybrid makes 259 horsepower and routes power through all-wheel drive, returning 30 mpg combined. The F SPORT Handling adds a sportier look with mesh grille and aluminum pedals, but the ride is firmer than the standard RX.
