Miles Overview
The NX is Lexus's compact SUV, the one you'll likely cross-shop with the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. It's not a sporty drive, but the steering is light and the ride is impressively smooth, making it an easy daily companion. Inside, you get a well-built cabin with comfortable seats and a 9.8-inch touchscreen that's standard across trims. Cargo space is about average for the class, and the rear seats fold flat for bulky items. If you want the NX hybrid's fuel savings but can't stretch to the 350h, the Premium gives you the nicer seats and tech upgrades without forcing AWD on you. The 2.5L I4 engine makes 203 horsepower and works through an eight-speed automatic, and with all-wheel drive it gets 28 mpg combined. The ride leans comfortable rather than sharp, and the Premium trim adds synthetic leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats as standard.
