Miles Overview
The Corolla is Toyota's compact sedan, the one that's been a default choice for practical buyers for decades. It's not quick, but the Corolla's light weight and eager steering make it feel nimble around town, and a manual gearbox adds some fun. The ride is on the firm side and road noise gets noticeable at highway speeds, a trade-off for the car's light weight and efficiency. The cabin is simple and a bit plain, but the rear seats fold down to extend the trunk, though only at an awkward angle. The LE is the nicer Corolla, with a few extra interior comforts over the base CE that make daily driving more pleasant. Its 1.8L I4 makes 126 horsepower and pairs with a four-speed automatic, which shifts smoothly but keeps the car relaxed rather than quick.
