Miles Overview
The 2016 Corolla is a compact sedan that takes on the Honda Civic, Nissan Sentra, and Ford Focus in the ever-competitive economy car class. The steering is light and the ride is composed, making the Corolla an easy car to live with day to day, though it is not a sporty drive. Inside, the cabin is roomy for the class, with a spacious back seat and a trunk that expands when the 60/40 split-folding rear seats drop down. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, and available Toyota Safety Sense adds pre-collision warning and lane-departure alert. Better fuel economy and a slightly more efficient engine set the LE Eco apart from the standard LE, while keeping the same practical cabin and trunk. Its 1.8L I4 makes 140 horsepower and returns 35 mpg combined, which means you get genuine highway efficiency without giving up much power for daily driving.
