Miles Overview
The 2008 Town Car is Lincoln's full-size rear-drive sedan, the last of the old-school American luxo-barges. It's happiest cruising straight and smooth, with a soft, floaty ride that isolates you from the road. The cabin is genuinely huge, with the kind of rear legroom that makes it a favorite for livery and limo duty. The Signature Limited is the top trim, adding leather and wood trim over the base Signature for a more upscale feel without stepping into the Cartier edition. Its 4.6L V8 makes 239 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission to rear-wheel drive, delivering smooth, effortless cruising at 18 mpg combined. The Signature Limited's standard heated front seats and power-adjustable pedals make long trips more comfortable, though the air suspension can feel floaty over bumps.
