Miles Overview
The Town Car is Lincoln's full-size rear-drive sedan, the traditional American limousine and livery choice, often compared to the Cadillac DTS and Buick Lucerne. It drives like a big, soft-riding cruiser, with light steering and a smooth, quiet demeanor that makes highway miles effortless. Inside, you get a vast, comfortable cabin with plenty of room for five adults and a huge trunk, though the rear seat is especially limo-like. The sedan body is the standard, but a factory limousine version is also offered for those needing serious passenger space. The Signature Limited is the plusher Town Car, adding heated and cooled leather seats and a power moonroof over the Executive, for buyers who want the full luxury treatment. Its 4.6L V8 makes 239 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque, routed through a four-speed automatic to the rear-wheel drive, which gives it relaxed highway cruising and 19 mpg combined.
