Miles Overview
The 2016 MKX is Lincoln's midsize two-row SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Lexus RX and the Cadillac SRX. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a hushed cabin that makes highway miles easy, though the ride leans firm and the seats are on the stiff side. Inside, you get a roomy cabin that seats five adults comfortably, plus a generous cargo area that expands when you fold the rear seats. The available touchscreen and navigation work well, and the heated and cooled seats are a real treat on long drives. The 2.7L V6 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving you confident traction in rain or snow and a combined rating of 19 mpg combined. The Reserve trim unlocks the available 20-inch wheels and the upgraded Revel audio system, which fills the cabin with clear, rich sound.
