Miles Overview
The MKX is Lincoln's mid-size crossover, the one that competes with the Lexus RX and Cadillac SRX. It drives smoothly and quietly, with enough power to get up to speed without fuss, though the acceleration can feel a bit strained at times. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space in the back seats and trunk for your stuff. Owners report few problems, but some mention minor electrical issues and a squeaky trunk. Stepping up to the Select from the Premiere gets you a few more convenience features and the option of the stronger 2.7L V6, while skipping the Reserve’s extra luxury trim bits. With 335 horsepower and all-wheel drive, this Select feels eager off the line and planted in wet conditions, though the six-speed automatic occasionally hunts for gears under harder throttle.
