Miles Overview
The 2016 MKX is Lincoln's midsize two-row SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Lexus RX and the Cadillac SRX. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a hushed cabin that makes highway miles easy, though the ride leans firm and the seats are on the stiff side. Inside, you get a roomy cabin that seats five adults comfortably, plus a generous cargo area that expands when you fold the rear seats. The available touchscreen and navigation work well, and the heated and cooled seats are a real treat on long drives. A unique interior color palette and premium leather upholstery set the Black Label apart from the Reserve and Select trims below it. The 3.7L V6 makes 303 horsepower, and with front-wheel drive and the six-speed automatic it gets 21 mpg combined on regular fuel.
