Miles Overview
The 2013 MKX is Lincoln's mid-size crossover, the one you'd cross-shop with the Lexus RX and Cadillac SRX. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that feels more at home on the highway than on twisty back roads. The cabin is a highlight, with comfortable leather seats and a layout that's easy to live with, though rear legroom is a bit tight. Owners report few mechanical issues overall, but a few have noted minor problems like a broken door handle or a squeaky trunk. The front-wheel-drive Base is the entry point to the MKX lineup, and it's the one to pick if you don't need all-weather traction and want to save a little at the pump. Its 3.7L I6 makes 305 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving you smooth, responsive power that's plenty for daily driving, and it returns 22 mpg combined.
